Everything here is live and clickable — our own products and tools, built end to end. Ask us for a walkthrough of any of them, or for references on the client work we can't show publicly.

Three screens of the MyHata iOS app: home, infrastructure and roadwork, fire and paramedic calls

MyHata — the iOS app that watches your block

Set your address once and the app tells you what is about to happen around it: garbage and recycling days, snow-route parking bans, permits and construction next door, new 311 reports, fire and paramedic calls, emergency alerts. Scheduled things are planned on the phone; unpredictable ones arrive as push from our own backend, which polls a civic data service we built for the purpose.

Scope: SwiftUI app · open-data hub · Vapor push backend (APNs) · App Store — coming soon

myhata.app — product site and waitlist

The product's public face: a fast, no-build landing page that explains it with real app screenshots and collects three kinds of leads — beta signups, "bring it to my city" requests, and partner enquiries — straight into the same backend the app talks to.

Scope: single-page landing · three lead endpoints · privacy & terms · TLS + deploy

Flight Review Assistant — RPAS assessments, step by step

A reviewer-facing tool for Canada's Advanced RPAS flight review: it walks an examiner through all 54 assessment fields one at a time, with Transport Canada criteria, expected answers and a pinpoint citation on every question, animated flight-manoeuvre demos, and a sign-off step at the end. Runs entirely in the browser — progress stays on the reviewer's device, nothing is uploaded.

Scope: assessment engine · 54 cited criteria · animated manoeuvres · local-only storage

Veldra Perfect Pour — a taproom game in the browser

A contest-style pour game for a beer brand: pick a difficulty, time the pour, get scored on the head, and land on a local leaderboard. Mobile-first, nothing to install — a guest opens a link at the bar and plays within seconds.

Scope: React + Vite · three challenge modes · scoring & leaderboard · on-device storage

JustCalories — snap a meal, know your macros

A calorie tracker built around the camera: photograph a plate, or type one line, and the app returns calories, protein, fat and carbs, logs the meal and writes it to Apple Health. A weekly coach reads the log and points out what's missing. No account, no ads, no cross-app tracking — shipped and updated through 1.5. Built end to end: the iOS app, the AI backend behind it, and the product site that carries the privacy policy the App Store listing points at.

Scope: SwiftUI + SwiftData · HealthKit sync · home-screen widget · Fastify AI backend · product site on AWS Lightsail

Krokva — a civic dossier for any Canadian address

Type an address and get its municipal record from open data: building permits and their history, service requests, zoning and assessment context, and what has been happening around the property. A city-agnostic data layer with pluggable Socrata and CKAN providers, in development with Winnipeg first.

Scope: SwiftUI iOS app · multi-city data providers · self-hosted data mirror · landing site

Process

How a project runs

The same four steps every time, so you always know where you are.

01

Scope

A working session, then a one-page plan: what we're building, what it costs, when it lands. Free, no obligation.

02

Prototype

A clickable prototype in the first two weeks, so you can try the flow and change direction early.

03

Build

A working demo every Friday. Change requests are welcome — we price and schedule them before doing the work.

04

Ship & run

Launch, handover docs, and a support plan. We stay involved after release, when real users arrive.

Pricing

What things cost

Typical ranges for our projects. Where you land inside a range depends on scope — we fix the exact number before any work starts.

Marketing website$3,000 – 6,000
Online store$6,000 – 12,000
Web platform / portal$12,500 – 25,000
Mobile app$15,000 – 30,000
AI integration$4,000 – 8,000
Support & maintenance$750 – 1,500 / month

All amounts in CAD, before GST. Every project gets a fixed quote after a free scoping session, and the quote doesn't change mid-project.

About

Built in Winnipeg.
Working across Canada.

We're an engineering studio based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Central time zone means easy overlap with both coasts, and we can be on-site anywhere in the city the same day. You get plain-language reporting and a direct line to the people writing the code.

A terrikon is a man-made mountain, built up one load at a time. We build software the same way: layer by layer, made to last.
